Maluku Utara Kaya wisata dan Bahari

Pertunjukan tradisional baramasuwen (bambu gila) menjadi atraksi dalam Legu Gam Moloku Kie Raha 2010 atau Pesta Rakyat Maluku Utara 2010 di Lapangan Ngara Lamo, Ternate, Maluku Utara, Maluku, Rabu (7/4). Meskipun diangkat oleh lima orang, bambu tersebut tidak bisa dikendalikan. Bambu itu mengikuti gerak dari sang pawang yang memberikan kekuatan magis pada benda tersebut.

TERNATE, KOMPAS.com - Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata (Disbudbar) Maluku Utara (Malut) memprogramkan pelaksanaan kegiatan wisata bertaraf internasional sebagai salah satu upaya lebih memperkenalkan potensi wisata daerah ini kepada wisatawan mancanegara.

"Kami memprogramkan paling lambat dua tahun ke depan sudah ada kegiatan wisata bertaraf internasional yang digelar di Malut," kata Kepala Disbudbar Malut, Nurlaela Armaiyn di Ternate, Selasa (3/8/2010).

Disbudbar Malut ingin mencontoh penyelengaraan Sail Bunaken di Sulawesi Utara dan Sail Banda di Maluku. Kegiatan wisata bertaraf internasional di ke dua daerah itu sangat efektif dalam memperkenalkan potensi wisata daerah setempat.

Nurlaela mengatakan, Malut memiliki banyak potensi objek wisata menarik, terutama objek wisata budaya dan peninggalan sejarah, objek wisata bahari serta objek wisata ilmiah, khususnya yang terkait dengan keanekaragaman flora dan fauna.

Objek wisata budaya dan peniggalan sejarah yang menarik di Malut di antaranya Kesultanan Ternate, benteng peninggalan kolonial di Ternate, Tidore dan Bacan serta bekas pangkalan Sekutu pada Perang Dunia II di Kabupaten Pulau Morotai.

Sedangkan objek wisata bahari yang menarik di Malut, menurut Nurlaela, di antaranya panorama bawah laut dan keindahan pantai pasir putih. Khusus panorama bawah laut di antaranya di objek wisata Guraici, Teluk Jailolo dan Kepulauan Widi.

Sedangkan objek wisata ilmiah, di antaranya beranekaragam burung di sejumlah kawasan hutan di Ternate dan pulau Halmahera. Burung tersebut ada yang endemik Halmahera yakni burung bidadari atau biasa juga disebut cendrawasih Halmahera.

"Objek wisata tersebut selama ini belum banyak di kenal, terutama luar negeri, oleh karena itu melalui penyelenggaraan kegiatan wisata bertaraf internasional nanti diharapkan potensi objek wisata lebih dikenal di luar negeri," katanya.

Disbudbar Malut selama ini sebenarnya telah berupaya mempromosikan potensi objek wisata tersebut baik melalui jasa internet maupun melalui pameran wisata di berbagai daerah di Indonesia, tapi karena keterbatasan dana sehingga hasilnya belum maksimal.

Nurlaela menambahkan, Disbudbar Malut pada 30-31 Juli 2010 menggelar Festival Guraici di Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan. Kegiatan itu juga merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mempromosikan potensi objek wisata daerah ini.

PEMKOT TERNATE TERBITKAN KAMUS BAHASA DAERAH TERNATE

Ternate, 28/9 (Antara/FINROLL News) - Pemerintah Kota Ternate, Maluku Utara (Malut) menerbitkan kamus bahasa daerah sebagai salah satu upaya melestarikan bahasa daerah Ternate, khususnya kepada para siswa di daerah itu.

"Penerbitan kamus bahasa daerah Ternate ini merupakan hasil kerja sama antara Pemkot Ternate dengan para budayawan dan tokoh adat di Ternate," kata Kabag Humas dan Protokoler Pemkab Ternate Yunus Yau di Ternate, Senin.

Kamus bahasa daerah Ternate tersebut akan didistribusikan kepada seluruh sekolah di Ternate serta berbagai pihak terkait lainnya sebagai acuan dalam mengajarkan dan mempelajari bahasa daerah Ternate.

Ia mengatakan upaya lain yang dilakukan Pemkot Ternate untuk melestarikan bahasa daerah Ternate adalah memasukkan bahasa daerah Ternate sebagai mata pelajaran muatan lokal di seluruh Sekolah Dasar di daerah ini.

Selain itu, Pemkot Ternate mengangkat guru kontrak khusus bahasa daerah Ternate pada semua sekolah dasar di daerah ini. Pemkot Ternate sampai saat ini telah mengangkat lebih dari seratus guru kontrak bahasa daerah Ternate.

"Anak-anak di Ternate belakangan ini banyak yang tidak mengenal bahasa daerah leluhurnya, oleh karena itu melalui terobosan Pemkot Ternate tersebut, diharapkan anak-anak di daerah ini bisa lebih mengenal bahasa daerah leluhurnya," ujar Yunus Yau.

Pemkot Ternate juga telah memprogramkan pembangunan rumah adat di sejumlah wilayah adat di Kota Ternate sebagai tempat bagi para tokoh adat di daerah ini dalam melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan yang terkait dengan adat.

Rumah adat di sejumlah wilayah tersebut dibangun sebagai bentuk perhatian dan kepedulian Pemkot Ternate untuk menunjukkan identitas budaya sejarah masyarakat Kota Ternate kepada berbagai pihak termasuk pada wisatawan yang akan berkunjung ke daerah ini.

Ia menambahkan, Pemkot Ternate bersama DPRD Kota Ternate telah pula melahirkan Perda mengenai pelindungan masyarakat adat dengan tujuan melindungi keberadaan masyarakat adat di daerah ini, khususnya yang terkait dengan keberadaan masyarakat ada di lingkungan Kesultanan Ternate. (T.PK-AF/L002)

Indonesian politics is still unpredictable and that it makes it also quite interesting. One of the big surprises of the last time is the sudden political resurrection of the Sultan of Ternate in the N-Moluccans. This king with complete name:Sultan Drs. Mudafar II Syah Masjur Kamo Lano (usually known as Sultan Mudafar II Syah) won in the last april election for the national parliament a seat as a senator. A part of this parliament is made up of representatives special of their area and the people of a part of the area of the so-called Kesultanan Ternate, where the sultan stood candidate, choose him as their wished candidate to represent their needs and further things of their lives in the national parliament. Since 1999 the Sultan of Ternate experienced some political problems. Then the N-Moluccan province was being shaped and some blame him for being to ambitious in that process. After the reinstallment of the structure Moloku Kie Raha (N-Moluccans to be seen as the area of the 4 kingdoms) the situation went slowly but surely more better in the Moluccans. In 2001 Sultan Abdullah Syah was installed as new sultan of a resurrected (nominal) kesultanan (in fact heir of the dynasty) of Jailolo, so the complete structure of 4 royal families of 4 areas was complete again according to tradition. The Sultana of Ternate;Boki Dra. Nita Budhi Susanti Syah;was chosen in 2004 as the Ternate representative in the Indonesian national parliament. And she seemed to become that again in 2009. But suddenly Sultan Mudafar II Syah was favoured as a candidate and chosen;although he said to some people before, that he was already thinking of slowly but surely to witdraw for very active politics. But probably he tought, that when his people called upon him to help them, he only could follow the wishes of his people to try to serve them. His former political so-called rival;Sultan Haji Djafar Junus Syah of Tidore (Tidore was historicaly from time to time a bit the rival of equal powerful Ternate) was chosen in 2004 already as the representative of the part of the so-called kesultanan area of Tidore, where he could stand as a candidate and in 2009 again. Only the Sultan of Jailolo, Sultan Abdullah Syah (complete name: Sultan Haji Abdullah Abdurachman Haryanto Syah) seemed to need more time to be rooted politically in his so-called kesultanan area. This is a very symphatic former army-officer known king just appeared the last 2 years in the political arena. He was not chosen, but at least his people knew then, what were his ideas and how he acted as a real politician. It is to be wished, that this warm personality also will be able to serve his people on a more higher level. So he will be seen in the future more;socializing among his people. The data above as a result of recapitulation entry in General Election Committee whereas just two regencies and two cities as mentioned at prior that has completed accounting process. Meanwhile, 5 regencies others have not submitted the data.
Only one Sultan that totally failed, he is Sultan Jailolo Abdullah Sjah. From temporary data in General Election Committee his name listed beyond the big five. Provided that he loose in competition with Abdurahman Laahabato who gets 6658 temporary result.
